Someone should design a city that is earthquake resistant! The cities in China where the epicenter,of the earthquake hit,the buildings were a total loss! Future houses and buildings built in this area could be required,to be built,to Resist Large Earthquakes! A city could be built from the ground up enabling the builders to employ thier skills on an Earthquake Resistant City! Much different from just adding a few buildings that are earthquake resistant...This would be an entire city! This would be the first of it's kind. A large pipe is one of the strongest shapes... a half of a pipe like a airplane hanger is also very strong! The rebuilding of the earthquake zone should employ these techniques! The threat of falling concrete would be removed and the residents will feel safe in thier new dwellings!
